Plan resurfacing around the day that is actually booked.

Centraly looks at each rink's schedule, finds gaps long enough for a run, and shows staff why the opening matters. Staff decide what gets added. The approved plan then goes to the operator board.

The plan starts with the rink schedule.

There is no second calendar to maintain. Centraly reads the booked sessions and resurfacing runs already on each surface. It applies the venue's run length, operating hours, booking buffers, and number of available machines. A surface can have its own rules when it runs differently from the rest of the building.

A gap is not automatically a good time to cut.

A 15-minute opening may fit, but staff still need to know what the ice has seen and what is coming next. Each recommendation shows the available time, weighted skating time since the last cut, the next session, and expected skaters when registrations are available. That is enough context to tell a useful opening from an empty spot on the calendar.

Staff make the call.

Approve the time as shown, move it, or dismiss it. Staff can also schedule several recommended openings for one surface at once. Before saving, Centraly checks the live schedule again so an old recommendation does not collide with a new booking.

The approved plan becomes the operator's day.

The ice operations board shows what is happening now, the next resurfacing run, and the session after it. Drivers do not have to translate a separate spreadsheet or radio message. The board stays in step with the approved schedule, and completed runs stay in the record.
